Thanks for the lectures. They are amazing. I just have some clarification. In the last example, experiment 3, I think adding Beta mercaptoethanol on the scrambled polypeptide will not bring back the native structure since there was no counterpart enzyme for the urea that was taken off?

Thanks for the wonderful lecture. I appreciate your effort. I just have one question regarding the reverse reaction. If it is thermodynamically favorable, the activation energy would not be a problem since there are ATP to help, so therefore it occurs spontaneously than the forward reaction. Why does ATP only helps in the forward reaction? Does the ATP think in its own that it will only help in forward not backward? Please help me to understand. I am thanking you in advance.

I am just confused about Histidine. Since the pKa is below 7, should it be an acid not basic amino acid?
