Andrey, can you please explain how sodium potassium pump can return the cell's resting membrane potential after hyperpolarization? If I understood correctly, inside of the cell should be more negative than normal during hyperpolarization period. If sodium-potassium pump pumps 3 Na+ out and 2 K+ in, doesn't that make the inside of the cell more negative (further away from its resting membrane potential)?
